Meet the Assistant Principal

Hello Hawks Rise Family!

Returning to Hawks Rise truly feels like coming home! I am thrilled to serve as your Assistant Principal. Hawks Rise holds a very special place in my heart. I spent 17 wonderful years here as a teacher and Dean of Students, and all four of my children proudly graduated from Hawks Rise.

I am a native of Miami, Florida, and a graduate of Florida A&M University, where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership. I am also a National Board Certified Teacher (Early Childhood Generalist).

I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and cheering on the FAMU Rattlers. I firmly believe that strong relationships are the foundations of successful families and school communities. As Assistant Principal, I am committed to ensuring that every student feels seen, valued, supported, and challenged to reach their full potential.
